SIN 899-1: Environmental Planning Services and Documentation

HAI provides environmental management and occupational health consultation services to address all aspects of environmental planning services and documentation.

SIN 899-2: Environmental Compliance Services

HAI provides environmental compliance services throughout the United States and the world to military environmental programs, surety corporations, and manufacturing corporations. These services include compliance assistance with international treaties, federal, state, and local laws, and DOD and service-specific regulations.

SIN 899-3: Environmental Occupational Training Services

HAI provides government and commercial clients with courses, seminars, and workshops in support of safety and Environmental Occupational Training Services on a wide variety of environmental-related issues, including Fire Preparedness Training and Public Fire Safety Education. Members of HAI Staff provide training to military servicemen and civilians worldwide in Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health.

HAI develops and presents courses, seminars and workshops for the Environmental, Safety and Occupational Heath Professionals as well as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), and commercial clients.

SIN 899-4: Waste Management Services and Software

HAI provides waste management services to military environmental programs. These services include solid waste characterization and source reduction studies, program analysis, waste management plans, data collection and development, regulatory and economic impact analysis, equipment/technology feasibility analysis and market surveys, and analysis of waste management impacts on logistics and personnel safety (hazard exposure assessments).

SIN 899-6: Remote Advisory Services

HAI provides remotely delivered advisory service in support of government environmental programs. These remote services include technical support and recommendations for Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Environmental Regulations. HAI has developed an MSDS-based database for use in determining installation air emissions from coating operations. Installations throughout the Department of Defense have contacted HAI and utilized this information in preparation for Air Emissions inventories and upcoming environmental regulations.

HAI provides remote advisory services on environmental regulations in support of several high-level Army agencies. Installations and Acquisition programs seek the advice of HAI staff for applicability of environmental regulations, compliance with these regulations, and the direction and intent of upcoming regulations. HAI staff is recognized for their professionalism and expertise in assisting clients with complex issues from remote locations.
