Hughes Associates Opens New Office in Raleigh

Hughes Associates Inc. (HAI), a global company leading the Fire Protection Engineering field, is pleased to announce the opening of the Raleigh, North Carolina area office. The Raleigh Area office is located at 8480 Honeycutt Road, Suite 237, Raleigh, NC 27615.

HAI’s Raleigh office allows HAI to meet increasing demand for client solutions and services while providing a cost-effective product for federal, state and commercial clients. Along with the Orlando and Norfolk area offices, the Raleigh area office will allow HAI to continue supporting clients throughout the South and Southeast  United States.

The Raleigh office, along with other HAI offices, is able to provide Fire Protection Engineering consulting services including Design Build Fire Protection Engineer (DBFPE) services, city and state plan review services, fire investigation services, fire modeling services, and fire protection systems design. The Raleigh office will be managed by Jim Amy, PE.

Mr. Amy joined Hughes Associates Inc. in October 2011 and has over 20 years of experience in Fire Protection Engineering including in consulting, insurance, manufacturing, and government activities.
